yeah, it's a bit annoying.
You have to open up the video in a browser with the full URL. the copy the URL and remove any of the additional codign like the Time reference or the watchlist/ feature stuff.

So this full original URL
Code: Select all
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPMJDXmYwiY&feature=youtu.be
becomes this
Code: Select all
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPMJDXmYwiY

Then wrap that in the YOUTUBE code things
Code: Select all

The end resulting text should look like this:
Code: Select all

Oh and wireless headsets are a must! It would be great to not have a cable hanging down and dragging you back!

I have one main question:
Can I disable the VR headset audio and use my own headphones and Audio card instead?
I really love my Sound card and hedseat combo I and don't want to be stuck with the audio options provided by a primarily visual enhancing piece of kit.

You can, at least with the Rift, I used to do just that. Only reason I don't now is because I need to listen for the baby monitor and it is a lot easier to do that with the Rift headphones than my good ones!

Yes, I wouldn't worry about this too much ...... a snips will get that done for ya if all else fails.

....this looks as a very recognisable evolution (think car industry) LOL

Good news, HTC are kinda doubling down here .....and with new market entrants, it will be with interest that I watch to see how the market reacts during 2018. I notice the focus on AAA gaming in the short advert here also ... which again plays to my opinion that mainstream needs to be well on board for niche applications such as FS to benefit.

S!

I like the bit about VR on aircraft.

"On a plane you can't have people making sudden head movements and potentially hitting other passengers," he says. "You have to make sure the content is appropriate."

This means avoiding content involving roller-coaster rides or fighter plane dogfights.

"The last thing we want is for passengers to get sick," he says.

Finally... a use for airsick bags again!

So people on passenger jets can't play as fighter pilots in VR, but can fighter pilots play as passenger jet pilots whilst flying a fighter jet?

Any improvement on the current fresnel lenses would be very much welcome, especially in high contrast games (like space sims) where you get the lens flare effect.

I just hope this eye tracking stuff and moving parts are fast enough to keep up with eye movements without any noticeable lag.
