DCS Spitfire - Epsom Campaign - Videos

Post by Admin (Philstyle) »

Bought and started the campaign this morning. Am interested to see how Bunyap has designed it around the deficiencies of the platform (A.I., D.M etc..); I'll be posting YouTube videos of each mission.

I haven't watched it much after take off as I don't want to 'spoil' my own playthrough as presumably all the units etc are scripted.

Nice to see that your performance seems pretty good, hopefully I can tweak mine to a playable state.

Also I imagine you climb to angels 6 at the start so that you can cross the front without taking a load of fire from the Germans on the front line, then descend in the rear area - at least that's how it worked in Rise of Flight, granted that was a while back.

The AI wingmen will drop down from 12,000ft to attack ground targets. If you can't find them yourself, tell your wingmen to attack when they call out a contact. Then you can follow them to see where the units are.

Same a Dixon for me ...

Di-Lemm'er my babbers .....

I used a few bonus points towards picking this up also.
Having watched your first video Phil, I am struck a little by the RoF-esque feeling of it .... (this based on my own reactions to the early RoF career experience I recall).

Spoiler alert aside, I may hold off watching yours until after I run mine too ... (let's see how long that plan floats for)

The kneeboard map in the missions is looking great and it really shows off the value of it when used well.. something I hope I can learn more about for regular Sqn. flight nights.
